Chests
Every chest gives one random cosmetic. You don't choose which one. Higher tiers have better odds of rarer cosmetics. Check the exact odds below before you buy.

Each chest picks your cosmetic in three steps:
- Type. Gadgets have a 50 in 70 chance (about 71%). Each of the other 20 cosmetic types has a 1 in 70 chance (about 1.4%).
- Rarity. Rolled using the chest's rarity weights.
- Cosmetic. A random cosmetic of that type and rarity. If that type has none of that rarity, you get a random cosmetic of that type at any rarity. Gadgets have no Legendary cosmetics.
Legendary cosmetics only drop once you have 10 hours of playtime on the paintball servers. One Epic cosmetic needs 5 hours. Before that, those cosmetics can't drop, and the roll lands on another cosmetic of the same type. The tables below show your real chance of each rarity, with all of this included.
