Terms of Service
Player Policy
By connecting to any Oakwild Network server, you agree to follow these policies. Breaking them can result in a mute, kick, ban, or jail placement depending on severity. These terms apply to all players regardless of rank or purchase history.
Network Rules
These rules apply to every server on the network: lobby, skyblock, survival, and both paintball servers.
- Respect all players. Harassment, hate speech, slurs, threats, and targeted personal attacks are not tolerated. This includes skin names, item names, claim names, and any in-game text a player can set.
- No cheating or unfair advantages. Hacked clients, autoclickers, reach extensions, X-ray texture packs, movement mods, and any third-party software that gives an advantage over vanilla clients are prohibited. The network uses automated cheat detection that can restrict or jail flagged players without warning.
- No exploitation of bugs or glitches. If you find a duplication bug, an out-of-bounds area, a permission glitch, or any unintended behavior, report it on Discord immediately. Exploiting a bug for personal gain instead of reporting it is a bannable offense.
- No alt account abuse. Using alternate accounts to bypass a ban, mute, or jail, to manipulate events, or to farm referral or achievement rewards is prohibited. Staff may ban accounts that appear to be alts used for circumvention.
- No advertising. Do not post links to other Minecraft servers, Discord servers, or commercial products in chat or in player-visible text. Sharing your own non-server content in moderation is fine.
- No spam. Repeating messages, flooding chat with rapid messages, or using excessive capitalization is not allowed.
- Staff decisions are final. Arguing with or harassing staff about a moderation decision in-game can extend your punishment. If you believe a decision was wrong, appeal it on Discord through the proper channel.
- Account security is your responsibility. Do not share your account with others. If someone logs in on your account and breaks a rule, the account is punished regardless of who was at the keyboard.
Lobby
The lobby is the hub where players choose a game mode. Specific rules for the lobby:
- No combat. The lobby is a safe zone. There is no PvP, and players cannot be killed here.
- Do not block or obstruct the server selector. Standing on NPC pedestals or crowding interactive areas to prevent other players from clicking is not allowed.
- No building or destroying. The lobby is a protected build. Players cannot place or break blocks outside of areas explicitly designed for interaction.
Skyblock
Skyblock is a creative progression mode with an economy and skills. Specific rules for skyblock:
- No griefing other islands. Each island belongs to its owner. Do not take items, break blocks, or build on another player's island without permission.
- Economy exploits are banned. Do not use bugs to duplicate money, items, or resources. If you find a way to generate money or items faster than intended through a bug, report it.
- PvP is limited to the arena. Skyblock is PvP-free everywhere except the dedicated PvP arena, which you enter voluntarily. Attacking players outside the arena is not possible.
- Island resets are your responsibility. Using
/is resetpermanently deletes your current island. Staff will not restore items lost to a reset.
Survival
Survival is a vanilla-plus mode with land claims and an item-based economy. Specific rules for survival:
- Claim your land. Land claims protect your builds from griefing and theft. If you build in the wilderness without claiming, other players can take your blocks and items, and staff will not intervene. The Nether and End cannot be claimed, so build your main base in the Overworld.
- Combat logging is punished. If you are in combat and disconnect to avoid a fight, the server locks you in for 15 seconds after combat. Logging out during that window leaves your character vulnerable.
- Items dropped in PvP are not protected. If you die in a PvP zone, your dropped items are fair game. Staff will not recover them.
- No griefing inside claims. Breaking, stealing from, or building inside another player's claim without their trust permission is not allowed. If you are trusted on a claim and the owner removes your trust, leave the area without taking anything that was not yours.
- Monthly boss events are cooperative. Do not intentionally sabotage boss fights by blocking other players, luring the boss away, or preventing participation. Everyone who deals damage earns rewards.
Paintball
Paintball is a competitive team combat mode with stats and progression. Specific rules for paintball:
- No match manipulation. Do not coordinate with the enemy team to throw matches, feed kills, or inflate stats. Win-trading and stat-boosting are bannable.
- No exploiting out-of-bounds areas. Each arena has defined boundaries. Leaving the arena to hide or gain an advantage triggers an automatic teleport back. Repeatedly trying to leave the arena can result in a kick.
- Do not leave mid-match to avoid a loss. If all players on one team leave mid-match, the match auto-ends. Repeatedly abandoning matches to protect your win rate can result in a temporary ban from paintball.
- No cosmetic abuse. Cosmetics are visual only. If a cosmetic effect causes a gameplay advantage (like obscuring your hitbox or causing lag for other players), unequip it when asked by staff.
- Stats are shared across both paintball servers. Your level, tokens, kills, deaths, and cosmetic unlocks sync between PB-1 and PB-2. Bans on one paintball server apply to both.
Enforcement and Appeals
Depending on the severity of a violation, staff may apply any of the following: a warning in chat, a temporary mute, a jail placement (which clears on your next login), a temporary ban, or a permanent ban. Cheat detection runs automatically and can jail or restrict flagged players without staff involvement.
If your account is jailed by the automated cheat detection, the jail clears the next time you log in. You do not need to contact staff to be released.
To appeal a ban or punishment, join the Discord and use the support channel. Provide your Minecraft username, the server where it happened, and any relevant context. False or abusive appeals can extend your punishment.
Store Policy
Overview
The Oakwild store sells cosmetic chests and related cosmetic items. All purchases are processed through Tebex, our third-party payment provider. By making a purchase, you agree to both these terms and Tebex's terms of service.
All items sold are cosmetic only. They do not affect gameplay, stats, or competitive balance. There are no pay-to-win elements on any server.
Delivery
Purchases are delivered to your Minecraft account automatically. You must use your exact Minecraft Java Edition username at checkout. If you enter a wrong username, delivery may fail. Contact us on Discord if a purchase does not arrive within 24 hours.
Cosmetic chests and unlocked cosmetics sync network wide. A chest purchased on the website is available on all three servers.
Refunds
All purchases are final. Because cosmetic items are digital goods delivered instantly, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations after a purchase is completed.
If a purchase fails to deliver due to a technical error on our end, contact us on Discord and we will either deliver the item manually or issue a refund at our discretion.
Opening a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or payment provider without first contacting us on Discord may result in a permanent ban from the network. We are responsive on Discord and will work to resolve any delivery issue before a dispute is necessary.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe a charge was made in error or a product was not delivered, contact us on Discord before disputing the charge. We will investigate and resolve the issue. Filing a chargeback without attempting to resolve the issue with us first will result in a permanent account ban.
Age and Authorization
You must be at least 13 years old to make a purchase. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method and that you have the right to authorize the charge.

What version of Minecraft do I need?
The network runs on the latest release. Use an up-to-date Java Edition client to connect.

Your progress is saved automatically. Reconnect and you'll be back where you left off.

Paintball (PB-1 & PB-2) and Survival are online 24/7. Skyblock is temporarily offline. Follow Discord for status updates.
Who runs Oakwild Network?
Oakwild is an independently run project, built and maintained by its developer. Feedback and bug reports are always welcome on Discord.
Rules and Enforcement
I was jailed but I did not cheat. What do I do?
The automated cheat detection can occasionally produce false positives. If you were jailed, simply log off and log back in. The jail clears on your next login. If you believe you were banned by mistake, appeal on Discord.
Can I be banned for something I did on Discord, not in-game?
Yes. Harassment, threats, or severe rule violations on the Oakwild Discord can result in an in-game ban, and vice versa. The terms apply to the community as a whole, not just the game servers.
Can I share my account with a friend?
You can, but it is strongly discouraged. If your friend breaks a rule on your account, the account is punished. If your friend spends your tokens, cosmetics, or in-game currency, we will not reverse those transactions.
What if I see someone cheating or breaking the rules?
Report it on Discord in the support channel. Include the player's name, the server it happened on, and what you saw. Screenshots or video help but are not required.
Can staff search my inventory or vaults?
Yes. Staff can inspect inventories, vaults, and block placement history as part of investigations into cheating, griefing, or exploitation. This is a standard part of moderation and does not require your consent.
Store and Purchases
Are there any pay-to-win purchases?
No. The store sells cosmetic chests only. Cosmetics are visual and do not affect gameplay, stats, damage, or competitive balance. Every gameplay feature is accessible through play without spending money.
Can I get a refund on a cosmetic chest I already opened?
No. Once a chest is opened and the cosmetic is revealed, the purchase is considered fulfilled. Refunds are only considered when a purchase fails to deliver at all.
What happens to my purchases if the server shuts down?
All purchases are for digital goods on a community server. If the network permanently shuts down, there is no way to use or transfer purchased cosmetics. We are not obligated to refund purchases if the server closes.
Can I transfer my cosmetics or stats to another account?
No. Cosmetics, stats, and progress are tied to your Minecraft account UUID. We do not transfer data between accounts.
Can I sell my account or items for real money?
No. Selling accounts, in-game items, cosmetics, or currency for real money or other out-of-game value is prohibited and can result in a permanent ban. Trading in-game items for other in-game items is fine.
Survival
What if my land claim expires from inactivity?
Claims auto-expire after 60 days of inactivity unless you have 10,000 or more claim blocks. When a claim expires, the land becomes unclaimed and other players can build there. Staff will not restore builds lost to an expired claim.
Bedrock Players
Do these terms apply to Bedrock players?
The Oakwild Network is a Java Edition server. Bedrock players connecting through Geyser or other cross-play tools are subject to the same terms while connected.

Paintball
Team-based arena combat. Fight for your team, level up, and unlock cosmetics.
Basics
Join a paintball server and you'll drop straight into the pre-game lobby, no menus needed.
- Connect to a paintball server (PB-1 or PB-2) from the server selector
- Click the team NPCs (Ember or Ice) to pick your side. You'll see live queue counts for both teams
- Click a weapon NPC (Rifle, Shotgun, Machine Gun, Sniper) to open that kit's GUI: select the kit, view its equipped perks, or click Manage Perks to open the Perk Shop for that kit
- Click the SHOP NPC to open the store GUI
- Click the Vote Map item in your hotbar to open the map-vote GUI and pick the next map
Matches support 2–16 players across two teams, Ember vs. Ice. Once enough players are in, a 30-second countdown begins: 20 seconds of map voting, then a 10-second final countdown. The winning map is announced and the match starts.
Gameplay
Understanding how matches work and how to win.
- Eliminate the entire enemy team to win
- Paintballs paint the blocks they hit in your team's color
- Throw water bombs at eliminated teammates to revive them. Hold the water bomb and right-click a teammate's body to revive them
- 10 health points per life. Get painted enough and you're out until revived
- Place temporary blocks during a round to build cover. The Builder perk grants extra blocks, and they revert at round end
- If all players on one team leave mid-match, the match auto-ends
Spectator Mode: Coming soon. Eliminated players currently wait in the lobby for the next round. Once implemented, you'll be able to spectate the rest of the match, fly freely, and see through walls.
Weapon Kits:
- Rifle: Balanced all-rounder for medium-range fights. Everyone starts with it
- Shotgun: Fires a spread of paintballs, devastating up close, weaker at range
- Machine Gun: Full-auto fire; accuracy drops the longer you hold the trigger
- Sniper: Hold SHIFT to charge your shot and watch the charge bar fill. A fully charged shot is a one-hit elimination, and every shot leaves a colored trail
The Shotgun and Sniper show a reload countdown between shots, so you always know when you can fire again.
Goals: Win matches, rack up eliminations, work as a team.
Levels, Tokens & Kit Unlocks
Everything you do in a match earns progress: playing games, getting kills, reviving teammates, and winning all grant XP and count toward achievements.
- Levels: Earn XP to level up. Each level costs a little more than the last, and there's no level cap. Your paintball level shows on your XP bar in the lobby
- Tokens: The paintball currency, earned by completing achievements and leveling up (+100 Tokens per level)
- Kit unlocks: The Rifle is free. The Shotgun, Machine Gun, and Sniper each unlock in three steps: reach the required level, complete that kit's achievement chain, then buy it with Tokens (1,000 / 2,000 / 3,500)
Goals: Level up, complete achievement chains, unlock every kit.
Achievements
There are 21 achievements: a 7-step chain for each unlockable kit (Shotgun, Machine Gun, Sniper). Complete every achievement in a kit's chain to make that kit eligible for purchase with Tokens. Higher-tier achievements require higher levels before they start tracking progress, and each one pays out Tokens when completed.
- Open the Stats menu and click Achievements to track progress and buy kits you've earned
- Click Progress to browse every level and its XP cost. Per-level rewards are unlocked as you level up
Perks
Perks are passive upgrades you buy with Tokens and equip per-kit, up to 3 at once. Click Manage Perks in a weapon NPC's kit menu to jump straight to that kit's loadout, or open Perks from the Stats menu to browse the full Perk Shop. Both GUIs link back and forth to each other and to your Stats menu.
- Lightweight / Lightweight II: Speed I or II while playing (Speed category)
- Healing / Healing II: Extra healing potions per game: 3 (was 2) / 4 (was 3), stacking to a max of 4 (Utility category)
- Builder / Builder II / Builder III: +8 / +16 / +24 starting build blocks per game (Utility category)
- Dead Silence: Suppress your footstep sounds so enemies can't hear you coming (Utility category)
Each perk has a required level and a Token cost, and most apply to every kit.
Equipped perks don't all activate at match start. Each of your 3 loadout slots unlocks individually as you reach 1, 2, and 3 kills that match (slot 1 at your first kill, slot 2 at your second, slot 3 at your third), then stays active for the rest of the match. Your kill streak resets each new match, so plan your loadout around which perks you want active early versus as a reward for a hot streak.
Cosmetics
Unlock visual cosmetics and equip them across all paintball servers. Cosmetics are purely visual and don't affect gameplay. There are 22 cosmetic types:
- Hats, Halos, Costumes, Flags (Coming Soon), Balloons: Wear and display items on your character
- Particle Trails, Projectile Trails, Kit Selector Particles: Particle effects as you move and shoot
- Death Effects, Leap Effects, Victory Poses, MVP Animations: Triggered visual effects
- Taunts: Trigger your equipped taunt cosmetic from the Cosmetics menu
- Weapon Names, Titles, Level Colors: Customize your name and display
- Mounts, Pets, Music, Gadgets, Morphs: Interactive and companion cosmetics
- Emotes: Trigger your equipped emote (cry, angry, happy) with
/emote
- Open the Cosmetics menu to browse, equip, and unequip cosmetics, or trigger your equipped taunt
- Cosmetics come from Cosmetic Chests: see the Chests section below for how to get them
Goals: Level up to earn chests, collect cosmetics, and customize your look.
Chests
Cosmetic Chests are how you unlock new cosmetics. Every 5 levels you earn a chest for free, and you can also buy more from the store. Open chests from the Cosmetics menu. Cosmetics come in four rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary.
- Basic Chest: Common cosmetics pool. Buy $2 · Buy 3x $5
- Premium Chest: Common + Rare cosmetics pool. Buy $4 · Buy 3x $10
- Ultimate Chest: Common + Rare + Epic + Legendary cosmetics pool. Buy $7 · Buy 3x $18
Higher-tier chests have better odds at rarer cosmetics. Buy chests in-game by clicking the SHOP NPC, or from the store link above. Either way, purchases are delivered straight to your account, online or offline.
Stats & Tracking
Every match you play is tracked, and your stats, level, Tokens, and kit unlocks are shared across all paintball servers.
- Click the Stats item in your lobby hotbar to open your Stats menu
Tracked stats include Games Played, Wins, Losses, Win Rate, Kills, Deaths, K/D Ratio, Best Streak, and Accuracy.
The server periodically broadcasts helpful tips in chat: reminders about the Stats menu, the Perk Shop, achievement chains, and leveling.
Maps
Players vote on the next map before every match.
- Killhouse: Tight, close-quarters combat
- Rust: A larger arena with longer sightlines
- Shoothouse: A multi-room arena with mixed ranges and angles
More maps are on the way.
FAQ
Which server should I join, PB-1 or PB-2?
Either works. Connect to whichever has your friends on it, or just pick one and you'll be placed in its lobby automatically.
What happens if I disconnect mid-match?
Your stats for that match won't count toward the final result, but you can rejoin the match while it's still in progress.
How do I switch weapon kits?
Click a weapon NPC in the lobby and select the kit from its menu. You can only select kits you've unlocked.
How do I unlock the other kits?
Reach the required level, complete that kit's achievement chain, then buy it with Tokens from the Achievements menu in your Stats menu. Unlocks are permanent and shared across all paintball servers.
Survival
Vanilla-plus survival with an item-only economy, land claims, tiered achievements, and cross-server cosmetics. No fixed spawn, no currency. You random-teleport into the world on join and build your own story from there.
Basics
When you first join, you'll be randomly teleported into the Overworld. There's no spawn hub and no currency. The economy is entirely item-based. Trade with other players, build a base, and work your way through the achievement chains.
/rtpor/wild: Random teleport to a fresh location (5-minute cooldown)- Mine, craft, farm, and build freely across the Overworld and Nether
- No money commands. Trade items directly with other players using
/trade
Goals: Establish a base, gather rare materials, progress through achievement chains, and collect cosmetics.
Land Claims
Protect your builds from griefing and theft with land claims. Claims are only available in the Overworld. The Nether and End are unclaimable, so build your main base in the Overworld.
- Use a golden shovel to mark out and claim territory. Right-click two opposite corners to create a claim
- Start with 256 claim blocks, and earn 50 more per hour of active play (up to 80,000)
- New players get a small automatic claim around their first build
/trust <player>: Let a friend build in your claim/untrust <player>: Revoke a friend's access/claim: View claim info- Claims auto-expire after 60 days of inactivity (unless you have 10,000+ claim blocks)
Goals: Claim and protect your base, expand your territory over time, invite friends to build with you.
Achievements
Your stats are tracked across 8 categories and reward cosmetic chests for completing achievement chains. Each chain is tiered. You must complete each tier before the next one starts tracking. Higher tiers reward better chests.
- Mining: Stone blocks, iron ore, diamonds, ancient debris (6 tiers)
- Combat: Zombies, skeletons, creepers, spiders, Wither, Ender Dragon, Warden (7 tiers)
- Survival: Playtime and distance traveled (6 tiers)
- Building: Blocks placed (4 tiers)
- Farming & Food: Crops harvested, fish caught, animals bred (5 tiers)
- Exploration: Distance, dimensions visited, strongholds, bastions (5 tiers)
- Social & Magic: Villager trades, enchanting, raids won (5 tiers)
- Monthly Bosses: Damage the rotating monthly boss to earn cosmetic chests (4 tiers)
/achievements opens the achievement GUI where you can browse all chains, see live progress, and view which tiers you've completed. Completing a tier rewards a cosmetic chest. Easy and Medium tiers give Basic chests, Hard tiers give Premium, and Ultimate tiers give Ultimate chests.
Goals: Complete every achievement chain, earn all Ultimate chests.
Monthly Boss Events
Once a month, a powerful boss spawns somewhere in the world for players to hunt down together. The boss rotates each month between the Ender Dragon, Wither, and Warden, and each one is significantly stronger than its vanilla counterpart with boosted health, damage, and regeneration. Players who participate by dealing damage to the boss earn cosmetic chests scaled to their contribution. The fight is meant to be a server-wide event, so gather your gear and be there when it spawns.
- Schedule: 1st of each month at 18:00 UTC. Warning broadcasts go out at 10 minutes, 5 minutes, and 1 minute before the boss spawns
- Rotation: Ender Dragon, Wither, Warden (repeats quarterly)
- Locations: Dragon in the End, Wither in the Nether, Warden in the Overworld
- Participation: Every hit counts. Damage is tracked per player from the moment the boss spawns until it dies
- Rewards: Tiered by damage contribution. Top damage earns Ultimate chests, mid-range earns Premium, everyone who participates gets at least a Basic chest
- Timeout: If the boss isn't killed within 2 hours, it despawns and participants get partial rewards
/boss: Check the current or upcoming event, view the live damage leaderboard during an active fight, or browse past results
Goals: Show up for every boss event, deal damage, top the leaderboard, and earn Ultimate chests.
Exploration & Random Teleport
Explore the world and discover new places, or use Random Teleport (RTP) to jump straight to a fresh, unexplored location.
/rtpor/wild: Teleport to a random location within the world border (500–15,000 blocks from center)- RTP sets your spawn point to the destination, so dying nearby won't send you far
- 2-second teleport delay. Don't move or it cancels
- Explore the Overworld, Nether, and End for unique resources and structures
- Find villages, strongholds, bastions, and rare biomes, all tracked for exploration achievements
Goals: Visit all three dimensions, find strongholds and bastions, walk 1,000 km total.
PvP
PvP is enabled everywhere, but land claims protect you inside your claims. You're safe at home. In the wilderness and all unclaimed areas (including the entire Nether and End), PvP is fair game.
- Claimed land: PvP-protected. Other players can't damage you inside your claim
- Wilderness (Overworld): PvP enabled
- Nether & End: PvP enabled, no claims allowed
- Combat logging is punished. You're locked in for 15 seconds after combat
- Items dropped on death in PvP zones are not protected
Cosmetics & Chests
Survival shares the same cosmetics system as paintball. Unlock cosmetics from chests, equip them with /cosmetics, and your unlocks sync network wide, so a chest you earn in survival is also available on the paintball servers.
/cc(or/cosmeticchest) - Open the cosmetic chest GUI and view your chest counts/cosmetics(or/cos) - Browse, equip, and unequip cosmetics/taunt: Perform your equipped taunt cosmetic/store: Get the store link (also clickable inside the chests GUI)
Cosmetics come in four rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. There are 22 cosmetic types: hats, halos, particle trails, death effects, victory poses, taunts, mounts, pets, morphs, emotes, and more. Earn free chests by completing achievement tiers, or buy more from the store.
Goals: Earn chests through achievements, collect rare cosmetics, customize your look across all servers.
Player Vaults
Access personal vault inventories that persist across sessions. The number of vaults you get depends on your rank, and each vault has 54 slots of storage.
/vaultsor/pv: Open the vault selector GUI- Locked vaults are visible but greyed out. Unlock more by ranking up
Item Trading
No currency means all trading is item-to-item. Safely trade with other players face-to-face.
/trade <player>: Send a trade request (must be within 10 blocks)- Shift-click a player to send a trade request quickly
- Both players must confirm before the trade completes. Items are swapped simultaneously
- Trade requests expire after 60 seconds
Useful Commands
Navigation and quality-of-life commands.
/rtpor/wild: Random teleport/home: Set and return to your home/tpa <player>: Ask to teleport to a friend/trade <player>: Start an item trade/vaults: Open your player vaults/achievements: View achievement progress/boss: Check monthly boss event status and leaderboard/cc: Open cosmetic chests/cosmetics: Equip cosmetics/claim: View land claim info/trust <player>: Trust a friend in your claim
FAQ
Is there money or a shop?
No. Survival uses an item-only economy. There's no currency, no /balance, no /shop. Trade items directly with other players using /trade.
Can other players grief my base?
Not if it's claimed. Land claims protect your builds from breaking, building, and theft by other players. Claims only work in the Overworld, so don't build your main base in the Nether.
Is PvP forced anywhere?
